양천화는 한때 인기 있었던 TV탤런트. 데뷔 초기 출연했던 드라마 때문에 현 남편과 결혼했다. 그런데 이제 나이 40이 되니 남편은 바람을 피운다. 자기가 더 이상 남편에게, 남자에게 매력이 없는 여자라는 사실에 여자는 조급해지고 뭔가 돌파구를 찾아 나선다. 바로 바이링이 만들어 파는 특제 만두(교자)를 먹는 것이다. 양천화는 그 만두에 무언가가 들어갔을 것이라고는 생각하지만 감히 물어보지도, 훔쳐보지도 못한다. 그런데 그 만두에는 낙태한 태아가 도마 위에서 칼질되어 만두소가 되어, 푹 찐 채 접시에 담기는 것이다. 두가풍의 미끈거리는 화면은 이 충격적 장면을 유려하게 비춘다. 양천화는 점점 자신의 얼굴 피부가 탱탱해지고 삶에 자신감이 붙는 것을 느낀다. 외도하던 남편도 자신에게 돌아온다. 그런데 어느 날 양천화는 자신의 몸에서 역한 냄새가 난다고 여기게 된다. 남편은 이 만두의 존재를 알게 되고 바이링을 찾아간다. 남편 또한 바이링에게서 그 만두를 먹게 되고 둘은 눈이 마주친다. 이제 바이링에게서 만두 공급을 거절당한 양천화는 미친 듯이 만두를 찾아 나선다. 그래서 남편과 외도한 여자-임신 5개월 상태-에게 거액을 주며 낙태를 강요한다. 그리고 그 태아로 직접 만두를 만든다.
