Kiddi pije a rád střílí. Gummi nepije a nestřílí. Zarostlí jsou oba stejně. Kiddi a Gummi jsou bratři, kteří spolu už 40 let nepromluvili ani slovo, a jediné, co oba sdílejí, je láska k ovcím. Jednoho dne Gummi pojme podezření, že Kiddiho výstavní beran je nakažen smrtelnou klusavkou. Nad rodinným plemenem ovcí, životní pýchou obou bratrů, se začnou stahovat mračna. Film citlivě vypodobňuje bratrské pouto, které i po desetiletích vzájemných neshod zůstává silné.
