A legendák földjén egy gonosz démon egyre erősebbé válik, s azt tervezi, hogy megteremti az Örök Éjszakát, és ezáltal megalapozza uralmát a világ felett. Tervének megvalósítását azonban gátolják az Egyszarvúak, a természet legtisztább, varázslatos teremtményei. Darkness ezért gonosz tervet sző: irtóhadjáratot indít, hogy az összes Egyszarvút eltörölje a Föld színéről.
