Hol volt, hol nem volt, volt egyszer egy Meseország, ahol minden klappolt: Hamupipőke a bálban ropta, Piroska a kosárkáját markolta, Csipkerózsika meg készült a kiadós szunyára. Akár ide is biggyeszthetnénk, hogy "Itt a vége, fuss el véle!", igen ám, de Meseország nagy varázslója szabadságra megy, s két helyettesére, Munkra és Mambóra bízza a Jó és Rossz örök egyensúlyának betartását, a két ügyefogyott segéd pedig elkövet egy óriási bakit, aminek az lesz a vége, hogy Haumpipőke gonosz mostohája, Frieda átveszi az irányítást. Nem kisebb dolgot akar, mint meghódítani Meseországot, s átírni az összes sztori végét: győzzenek a rosszak! Hamupipőke (barátainak csak Pipő) ezt nem nézheti tétlenül, hisz hiába is várná, hogy a szép szőke herceg eljöjjön érte fehér lován, ha Friedának más tervei vannak. Felkerekedik hát és barátjával, Rickkel, valamint törpékből és tündérekből álló szokatlan kompániájával szembeszáll Friedával, hogy visszaállítsa az egyensúlyt a Rossz és Jó között.
